The Holy Cross Boys Lacrosse program started in the 2004 season.
Through the continued commitment of the school, parents, and players,
the program has become an integral part of the school community.
The coaching staff has pledged to develop a program resulting
in a fun, positive, and enriching experience for your son. Not only
will we help your son develop a lacrosse skill-set, but also instilling
the principles of sportsmanship, respect for teammates and oneself.
You may have heard of the statement Honoring the Game.
We understand the importance of that statement, and look forward
to passing on that honor to your sons.

Rob Steel
Head Coach

Junior Varsity Coach ('04-'07)
College - Kutztown University
High School - Henderson, West Chester, Pa
Coach Steel has been with the program's inception in 2004. In 2007
the team won the Olympic Conference National Division and has competed
twice in the NJ State tournament. He has coached a variety of age
levels including Moorestown Lacrosse Club, and various U15 &
U17 winter league teams. In the summer, he coaches South Jersey
Shamrocks Club Team Green, U-17.
Rob's playing days were highlighted as a midfielder for Henderson
High School, located in West Chester, PA. and Kutztown University,
Kutztown, PA. Rob, his wife Marcie, and their three children live
in Lumberton. Marcie is a 5th grade teacher at Our Lady of Good
Council in Moorestown.
Coach Steel is certified in the NFHS/ACEP Coaching Principles program,
Completion of US Lacrosse Coaches Education Program Levels 1 and
2, CPR & Sports Safety Training certification.

Home games are played at the Reilly Stadium located on the schools
100 acre campus. The exceptional facility has one of the finest,
quality grass fields in Burlington County. Complete with a quality
sound system, two story press box, field lights, score board, and
concession stand, Reilly stadium is a prime place to watch great
lacrosse.
The team weight room is located close to the locker rooms and the
fields. It has the latest, most state of the art fitness equipment
and can accommodate several teams at once. The weight room is equipped
with free weights, benches, power stations, and more.
The lacrosse team uses two large practice fields located on the
school campus. These practice fields include a full size lacrosse
wall for players to utilize for "wall ball.".
